The Corsham Rotary Club is holding a St. George’s Day 10K race on 25th April, starting at 11am and taking place at the Corsham Town Football Club, Lacock Road.

Last year's race proved to be a big hit with over 500 people attending.
The run is in its 28th year, organising by both the Rotary Club of Corsham and the Corsham Running Club and is always a much supported event.
The theme of the race will be of St. George’s Day and those who class themselves as “Fun Runners” are encouraged to dress up, regardless of whether they are George or a Dragon.
This year there will be a BBQ, bar, refreshments, various stalls, pre-race music and entertainment.
The 10K Run has become an integral part of the Corsham Rotary Club’s fundraising calendar and money raises from the 2010 race will go to the Dorothy House Hospice and local charitiries. Last year £3,000 was raised by the run and 597 took part.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all categories. No one will go home empty-handed as each competitor will be awarded a St. George’s Day themed memento.
To cost to enter in advance is £9 (affiliated), £11 (un-affiliated) or on the day it’s one pound extra: £10 (Affilliated), £12 (Un-Affilliated).
To register, visit the Corsham Running Club website and don’t miss the St. George’s Day 10K Race.
