The World Cup 2010, is rapidly approaching, but where will you

be watching it? Know any good places to watch the game in Corsham and which

pub offers the best atmosphere and drinks and has the biggest television

screen?

What are your predictions for the game and are you excited

about the up-coming match?

For those who are not fans of the popular game (like me for instance!), what will you

be doing to avoid the football fun?

There are a number of fun ways to avoid the sports stretching

across the televisions such as the ‘Capturing the American Dream’ exhibition at

the Fox Talbot Museum in Lacock. The exhibition captures the essence of the

United States of America and the desires and dreams of the middle class

Americans.

Or why not catch a movie at the Pound Arts Centre? The film O’

Horten is showing at the Pound Arts Centre; a film about a sixty-seven year old

man, a train driver, on the cusp of retiring who turns up late for his own

train and is left stranded.

What local events do you know happening nearby? Add them below

and make sure to put them in the Events section of the Corsham People site.
