The Help for Heroes charity gives support for those servicemen and women wounded in the line of duty in the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. “I’m running for the St George’s weekend,” said Andrew, “Cause I’m mad like that!”
The St George’s Day 10K race is taking place at the Corsham Town Football club on Lacock road, starting at 11am and is being held by the Corsham Rotary Club.
The run is in its 28th year and is always a much supported event. This year there will be a BBQ, a bar, refreshments along with various stalls and pre-race music and entertainment.
It is definitely not to be missed. Donate some money now to help people like Andrew meet his target amount and make a difference!
