The hosts looked to be cruising to their target after bowling Taunton out for 182 after Wes Durston (19), top-scorer Steve Bullen (64), Tom Hankins (31) and Sam Collier (30) helped them reach 165-4.
When Bullen fell to Ben Orr (4-14), however, it sparked a collapse that saw Corsham reduced to 174-8, but Tom Bowler (14no) steadied the ship and hit the winning runs off the penultimate ball of the innings.
Qasim Khurshid was Corsham’s most successful bowler with 3-53 when Taunton batted, with Ashur Morrison (2-22), Hankins (2-32) and Joseph King (2-19) taking two apiece. The visitors were rescued by number three Jack Cooper, whose 68 helped them recover from 9-2.
Corsham entertain winless bottom side Glastonbury on Saturday.
