I've seen this happen before at a new government establishment. They are only given planning approval if they reduce the number of parking spaces. It's an EU greenie thing. What happened at the other establishment was that they painted double yellow lines everywhere and those that couldn't park onsite ended up paying local residents to park on their driveway. The going rate was around £6 day.

ReportA good suggestion is to put parking metres and charge for parking and then the money could be spent on getting a car park on a mp's garden
