“You’ve never seen anything like me before!” says the Ghost of Christmas Present. Strangeface has created an extraordinary adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic ghost story A Christmas Carol. Eccentric masks, wild puppets, and a magical set combine to create an entrancing brew that is both moving and comic.

This festive performance is suitable for all but the very young and includes the company’s ever-popular backstage tour. Strangeface has been touring nationally since 2001 with a distinctive style that blends quick changes, mask and puppet play with original live music and spooky soundscapes.

It was a fantastic performance, feedback was very positive and the company were lovely. The backstage tour was really interesting as you could look at the masks and the set and talk to the actors about the show and what they have been doing recently. We hope they will come back to The Pound in the future.

The Christmas Carol never gets old! Looks like a fun performance - especially with the backstage tour.
