Wet Weather Puts Dampener on Easter Weekend

Rain, sleet and hail for some parts of the UK, but will we in Corsham have a chance of snow?
-
Monks Lane in Neston is often prone to flooding - what other roads should Corsham people be wary of?
Up in the north of the country the snow fall has already resulted in one death of a 17-year-old on a school trip. Power has been cut off in some places, cars stranded in roads and numerous accidents have occurred.
With Spring upon us, most had thought the cold snap over but the weather doesn’t appear to be getting any warmer.
Back in the Corsham area, many roads have flooded and some country lanes are littered with fallen branches and other driving hazards.
More heavy rain is predicted to last until the end of the week with winds of up to twenty-three miles per hour.
Has the weather been affecting you? Did you get soaked when you popped down the post office this morning?
Tell us which roads are prone to flooding where you live. Monks Lane in Neston is usually difficult to pass in this kind of weather, have you tried getting past?
With the Easter Weekend approaching, some trips out might have to be postponed until there is better weather.
Let’s just hope that with a wet start to the year, Summer will be a little brighter.

Apparently there's snow in Wales though - let's hope that doesn't come across here! I'm sick of snow.

ReportI am just hoping that it will be hot summer after all this bad weather. However, it's nice to see everything looking green again and we just love to talk about the weather! Apparently if it's raining in Wales and dry here it moves across to us?
