A winter sunset in Corsham, but will the ones this evening be more spectacular?
another day but what will the effects of the ash be for us in Corsham? The ash
has reached ground level in Shetland after the eruption under a glacier in Eyjafjallajoekull.
The wind is blowing the ash and dust down the country, but for
us on the ground there might not be any difference to the day.
Evening, however, is a completely different story.
What is expected are some vibrant sunsets in the evening as the
volcanic plume reaches us down the south of the UK.
As the evening rolls round, grab that camera and start taking
photographs of the sunsets. The sun is expected to set at 19.59 today and fingers crossed it’ll
be a spectacular sight.
The NHS has said the ash from the volcanic eruption “should not
cause serious harm” and it is unlikely that we will notice anything down our
end of the country. However, the NHS have also advised that those with
respiratory conditions keep their medication on them.
Tell us how the volcanic eruption in Iceland has affected you. Have
your holiday plans been ruined? Do you plan to be out and about with your
camera during sunset to take some photographs?

Shows what having kids home from school for half-term does to one's social awareness ... I didn't know anything about this until today!!
Be interesting to see if we get a good sunset though .. there's a couple of places I want to photograph with a sunset behind them ....
