Tributes for Leanne Harris, the mother-of-three who died last week on the A4 in a road traffic accident, have continued to pour in.
The incident happened at 8.45am on Thursday morning at the Bradford Road junction after she had dropped off her eldest daughter at school.
Messages of support for her family have flooded the Facebook tribute page dedicated to remembering the life of Mrs. Harris. The tribute page now has over 190 members with pages of wall posts from her friends and family.
Mrs. Harris’ husband, Lee Harris, said: “I would like to thank the people who have helped us in so many ways since this nightmare began. We have only lived in Corsham for two months, but Leanne, the children and I had settled in well. We really thought we had landed on our feet, everyone here is so friendly and we were looking forward to bringing the children up together in such a great place.”
Despite being new to the area, Mr. Harris intends to stay around Corsham. He thanked those who stopped and helped his wife and children at the scene and said: “If you haven’t spoken to the police, I ask that you contact PC Mark Burnett based at Chippenham Roads Policing Unit, as any information you have could help the investigation into what happened.”
The Corsham community has been left shocked and saddened by the tragic event and many have left their own messages for Mrs. Harris who was only twenty-nine when she died.
Messages of support can be left below for those who knew Mrs. Harris or wish to give their condolences to the family at this time.
