Corsham Sci-Fi Event This Saturday

The Corsham Sci-Fi Event (Family-Funday) is being held on the 17th of April at the Corsham Community Centre from 10am to 4pm. Stars from Doctor Who and Star Wars will be present as well as monsters like the Daleks, Davros, Storm-Troopers, Darth Vader and many more. Check out this video for more information!

Pop along to the Corsham Community Centre this Saturday for the Corsham Sci-Fi Event
Money raised at the event will go to the British Heart Foundation, 16-30 PHAB as well as Marie Curie Cancer Care. Last year’s event raised over £400.00 for the local PHAB club.
Confirmed guests included Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett from Star Wars Empire Fights Back), David Johnson (children’s sci-fi author who will be launching his latest book), Tony Coburn (young Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter) as well as Deborah Watling (Victoria Waterfield from Doctor Who) and Frazer Hines (Jamie, the second Doctor’s companion).
Tickets can be bought from Automattic Comics or on the door with adults costing £3 and children £2.
There will be stalls such as a film making table, Automattic Comics, a Dalek building section and more of the traditional tombola and cake sales as well as guest signings and more.
Talks will be held such as an ‘Audience With the Daleks’, a ‘Fancy Dress Competition’ (so dust off that Chewbacca costume), ‘How to Write Science Fiction’ and many others.
“We’ve got six guests coming now,” said Matt Booker, organiser of the event, “There’s a lot of people coming from far and wide.”
