Google’s ‘Street View’ has gone nationwide in Britain with images of up to 95 per cent of roads in the UK, including Corsham!
-
Pickwick Road and a number of familiar shops.
-

The Two Pigs looking as cosy and welcoming as ever. What's your favourite street view of Corsham?
Be warned, once you’ve begun exploring the many street views of the town, you might not be able to stop. Anonimity has been spared as faces of individuals are blurred, as are number plates. Users can also ask for their cars or houses to be removed.
There's also the option for businesses to label their own establishments and for users to have a look. Want to take a closer look of the place you're going on holiday? Google's Street View will be able to take you right out onto the doorstep.
Sadly there isn’t a view of Corsham high street yet, but there’s a street view of Pickwick Road going through Corsham and some people doing some peculiar things.
Have you been caught on Google’s street view doing something? There are students of Corsham School are zipping down the lane past the library and one of the local shops, possibly the local Chippie stocking up and a number of cars caught in a bit of a jam at the roundabout.
The street view offers a 360 degree angle of the street, and many more in Corsham. Pickwick Road is available on street view, curving all the way down to the gates of Corsham Court, not quite visible past the rows of old cottages. A woman and her two children walk along Station Road but what’s this?
A banner reads ‘Vote - Nicholas Keyworth’. One of our town councillors!
Providence Lane is there, offering a lovely view into someone’s manicured and pristine back garden. Pickwick Road has a number of individuals waiting at the bus stop and the Two Pigs. Why not have a go taking a virtual tour around Corsham? But want to know the best part? The photographs were taken in summer and everything is in full bloom. It’s Corsham at its best and will make you pine for a bit of warm weather.
To have a look go to Google Maps and type in Corsham and from there, anywhere you want to go. Go have a mini-adventure without leaving your chair.
