A Guide Dog Charity Quiz is to take place at the White Hart at Atworth on Monday the 19th of April from 8pm until 10pm. The local pub is asking for brain boxes or those who want a little fun to take part in their night of entertainment and fun and also raise money for a good cause. 

There are prizes for both the winners and losers and all proceeds go towards Guide Dogs. It will cost £2.50 per person to enter. 

“We do try and have quizzes every third Monday and we’ve been doing that every month now,” said Kirsty Sythes, the landlady of the White Hart.

The charity chosen for that night was all due to a woman who lives locally and asked for money donated to go to help Guide dogs, explained Kirsty.

“The lady that contacted me lives in the village and she helps raises money for the actual charity itself,” she said, “Teams range in numbers; it depends on who is around. There are quite a lot of local teams.”

She described the pub as being “friendly and down to earth – more like a sitting room really. Come and have some fun. We’re a proper village pub.”
