James Walker, a local photographer, was displaying his unique

Star Wars themed canvasses and photographs at the Corsham Science Fiction Event,

but his artwork advances far beyond that of snaps of Storm Troopers.

A lot of his work is from various locations around the world

with dazzling landscapes and wildlife shots that really grip the viewer.

“One of my friends saw my canvas and put it in the Comic Book

Shop and I have sold a fair few from the shop,” said James at the Sci-Fi Family

Funday.

His work first started with a music video where his older

brother was the director and his photography continued from there.

The canvases that he is most known for in the town are those of

the Storm Troopers parading up and down Corsham’s streets or outside of

Automattic Comics (my favourite being the one with the little old lady crossing

the road along with a Storm Trooper).

The canvases and photographs at the Sci-Fi Event tied in

brilliantly with the day and gained a lot of interest.

Did you have a look and what did you think of the photography?

Have a glance at James’ gallery for more photographs – especially those of the

Corsham Sci-Fi Event!
