Catching Up With Local Photographer James Walker

James Walker, a local photographer, was displaying his unique

James Walker, local photographer, at the Sci-Fi Funday with his canvasses and prints.
Star Wars themed canvasses and photographs at the Corsham Science Fiction Event,
but his artwork advances far beyond that of snaps of Storm Troopers.
A lot of his work is from various locations around the world
with dazzling landscapes and wildlife shots that really grip the viewer.
“One of my friends saw my canvas and put it in the Comic Book
Shop and I have sold a fair few from the shop,” said James at the Sci-Fi Family
Funday.
His work first started with a music video where his older
brother was the director and his photography continued from there.
The canvases that he is most known for in the town are those of
the Storm Troopers parading up and down Corsham’s streets or outside of
Automattic Comics (my favourite being the one with the little old lady crossing
the road along with a Storm Trooper).
The canvases and photographs at the Sci-Fi Event tied in
brilliantly with the day and gained a lot of interest.
