A car-boot sale will take place at the Corsham Community Centre on the 10th of January. 

Ray Attock, one of the organisers of the event, gave more details about what should be expected.

Mr Attock said: “It’s at 9am in the morning until approximately twelve-ish or so. We should have about sixty tables there.”

Parking is available as well as refreshments, toilet facilities and a café.  

“We usually have a good attendance,” he continued, “It’s a six-weekly event whenever my girlfriend and I have the energy to do it.” 

With the Boxing Day sales having been and gone and the shops nearly empty from all those looking for a bargain, there may be some quite closer to home.

Instead of making the trek to Bath, another option could be this car-boot sale on the Sunday morning.

“It’s over the winter while the outdoor big boys shut up shop so we ran it four times last year so this will be the third one this winter.”

A whole variety of stalls will be available to browse round, Mr Attock said: “From bric-a-brac, to what you generally find in the attic, to Christmas presents people didn’t want.”
