On the 23rd February campaigners from the Friends of Bird’s Marsh handed in a petition to Wiltshire Council with over 2000 signatures in an effort to protect Bird’s Marsh.

I was there to show my support for protecting Bird’s Marsh and to re-iterate that if elected MP for Chippenham, I would support a Conservative Government in abolishing the Regional Spatial Strategy, enabling local people to determine housing needs in their area rather than Central Government.
