Maytime Musical Medley at the Corsham Football Club Tomorrow

The Maytime Musical Medley is taking place tomorrow on the 30th of May at the Corsham Football Club from 7.30pm to 10.00pm.

“It’s a mixture,” said Jean Price, one of the organisers of the event, when describing the range of music to be performed. Local Artists will include the Pound Sound Community Choir and the Bob Jones Trio and more.

It looks to be a fun filled night with all money raised going to a good cause, as Mrs Price explained: “We’re doing fund raising for the Samaritan's Purse."

The Samaritan’s Purse is a charity designed to help people in Africa, and the event at the Corsham Football Club is being held to help fund the purchase of water filters. Each one costs forty pounds and can bring clean water straight into the home of a family.

The tickets have been selling well so far for this event, so be sure to pick up yours soon.

In regards to ticket sales, Mrs Price said; “It’s coming up to about £600.00 but they will be selling them on the door.”

The event takes place tomorrow and with much music, laughter and fun and it is sure to be money well spent and spent for a good cause.

Tickets are priced at £7.50, including light refreshments. A bar will be open.
