Support Red Nose Day with local chocolate factory Lick the Spoon. The local business has produced two Red Nose Day items to tantalise your taste buds.

Fancy a treat and supporting a good cause at the same time? Lick the Spoon has created a Berry Red Nose (a white chocolate sphere filled with dried raspberries and strawberries) and a pack of three Red Nose Lickable Spoons (double-coated in white chocolate with a strawberry coating and a raspberry butter ganache nose).

With each purchase of these yummy treats, 25% goes to the good cause of Red Nose Day, and the buyer gets a tummy full of chocolaty goodness in the process.

But what’s next for Lick the Spoon?

“We are always coming up with new ideas,” said Matthew Short, whose wife originally started the company from their home in Chippenham, “Packaging those ideas is where we stumble.”

With a giant white chocolate Red Nose as one of their more recent creations, it’s not hard to believe that the packaging would be a bit of a challenge, but Matthew insisted, “It’s been selling well.”

The local business has been going for around four years, but Lick the Spoon have had their base of operations in Corsham for a year now and are trying to build up their client base in the area. “A lot of people don’t know we’re here, but we’ve started to sell a lot more in the local area. We’re in the Whitehall Garden Centre and the Neston Park Farm Shop. We’re just starting to get known,” explained Matthew, “It just takes a while.”

Red Nose Day is on Friday 18th March, a when the whole country gets together to do something funny for money and change countless lives in the process. What are you doing for Red Nose Day in Corsham area?
