A snap from the Corsham Sci-Fi Event 2010. Pop down to Automattic Comics on the 30th for a Halloween Troop and lots of sci-fi fun for charity.
“A few of the local troopers have some new costumes, so on the day before Halloween, a mini-event to raise awareness of next year’s Corsham Sci-fi Event is being held,” said Matt Booker owner of Automattic Comics who is helping to organise next year’s Corsham Sci-Fi Event, “We aim to raise loads of money for charity!”
The charity the local troopers will be collecting for is the British Heart Foundation and a free comic will be given to those kids who come in costume. Start getting those costumes ready!
Expect to see Zombie Stormtroopers, Sandtroopers, Cyber-men, Daleks and more outside Automattic Comics, opposite the Corsham Library on Pickwick Road.
Preparations for next year’s Corsham Sci-Fi Event are already well under way, the event to be held on 9th April 2011. The event was very popular last year, bringing in hundreds of people from far and wide, as well as a number of aliens, superheroes and Time Lords. Will you be going and what will you be dressing up as?
