  • Mad Pete was the wizard entertaining the children at the event and in the background are a few ghosts and ghouls clinging to the tree branches.

  • There was a big turn-out from the village and local area with many people packed into the Gastard Church for the All Saints celebration.
  • Costumes ranged from witches to wizards to ghosts and ghouls.
  • The All Saints celebration was inspired by the way in which American celebrates their Halloween.
  • Dressing up was not just for the children as even the church warden joined in!
  • Goody bags were made for the children with little treats inside.
  • Sam Williams was present at the event who gave a talk on aspirations and the journey he made for charity.
  • There was a competition for the best pumpkin and rows of the lanterns sat on the floor with devlish grins.
  • The jack o' lanterns ranged from humourless to terrifying but looked wonderful in the church courtyard.
  • a small tent was arranged outside of the church, decorated with a Halloween theme with many events organised inside.
  • Apple bobbing was just one of the traditional games to play.
  • The bike Sam Williams used on his tiring journey was propped outside the church. Halloween Soup was given to adults to warm them on the October evening.
