Katherine Park is like any housing estate - there's good and bad. It can be bit of a maze to navigate, but most people in the area are nice. There's a nearby Co-Op and it's walking distance to the local secondary school.
Corsham is a nice place in general though and has a great community spirit.

We have recently moved to Corsham from Bath, and we looked at a few houses in Katherine Park which were fine, but we felt quite enclosed and boxed in by other houses. It is quite a maze, but the houses are nice. I guess it just depends if you like estate living.
We ended up buying a house on Stone Close (off Bradford Road), which we love. It on the main bus route into Bath and Chippenham, but we don't find teh B Road too busy. The houses are only 4 years old, and nice and spacious. I think there are 45 houses in total, but it's just one close, so not a full on estate, and the houses vary enormously in size/price so there should be something to suit your budget. Hope this helps. xx
