Temporary Road Closure - Hartham Lane (part) from its junction with A4 Bath Road in a northerly direction to its junction with Butts Close, Biddestone will be closed from 16 May 2011. This is to enable Wales and West Utilities to lay a new gas main in the carriageway. It is anticipated that the works will take 16 weeks to complete.

Apparently yes it is still going on. They will allow traffic past with traffic lights I think. No disruption until 16th May but will keep you informed.

Wales and West Utilities have confirmed that the road diversion to/ from Hartham Park will change from Monday 4th July with all traffic routed through Biddestone.

That'll be a nightmare! It's 20mph through Biddestone and with all the traffic calming and people parking outside the pub, it's going to be hell for the residents and also for any commuters having to go through the village!

Hartham Lane has closed today (earlier than expected). You can only access Hartham Park via Biddestone.
