Lancer created the group, but neither he/she nor anyone else thinks it an important enough topic to warrent a post. Ok, well let me start one off because I think it is important because green taxes are going to cost us all a lot of money.
After climategate and IPPC controversy the whole scam should have been busted wide open and those dedicated to the cause should be on their knees saying sorry for misleading us all. But that hasn't happened has it? The AGW scammers are in complete denial and the biased BBC still goes on about climate change as if we haven't just had the coldest winter for 30 odd years and the Artic sea ice hasn't recovered to it's former glory.
I will pop back here after a day or two to check whether this has provoked a response, but I doubt it.

There are a number of topics in Environment and Conservation - you can see them on the right hand side box upon clicking on the group. Stories such as 'Corsham Lights-Out For WWF' and 'Rare Butterflies in Corsham Facing Extinction' and many more.
What are the arguments for and against climate change? How has the Green Tax, or how will it, affect us? How do you feel about the environment and conservation as a whole?
Because we live in a country where opposite points of view are not allowed. Climate change is fashionable and so everyone who wants to be fashionable jumps onto the green agenda. There are those such as me who believe man made climate change is a hoax as a way of keeping up energy prices and for world governments to tax it's citizens. For having this point of view and am ridiculed as a denier.
Whatever happened to that hole in the ozone layer? We don't hear of that any more. Perhaps it went the same way as global warming which we do not hear of anymore either. Now they call it climate change because it's started getting colder.
Fact is that the earth has warmed and cooled for 1000's of years long before the motor car and power stations. Most CO2 in the atmosphere comes from the sea naturally.
If carbon fuels are so bad for the planet, why are we always looking for new sources such as under the Artic Ocean which has only been discovered due to the Artic ice cap receding due to the use of fossil fuels? You'd think that if it was that bad they would leave it where it was.
Our climate is controlled by the winds in the northern and southern hemispheres which are in turned warmed and cooled by solar output from the sun. We can't control any of it for good or bad.
What will happen is that we will fail to adapt because we still think as King Canute, trying to push the sea back when it will never happen.
Go on then ridicule me but your the ones paying for it as well.
