"The snow is likely to accumulate over time, particularly, but not exclusively over higher ground. The public should be prepared for travel disruption during Friday morning," stated the Met Office on their website.
Throughout the weekend and on through to Monday there is a weather warning for ice throughout the South West, asking the public to be aware of the conditions out on the roads.
The minimum temperature for tonight looks to be around 1 degree Celsius with a possibility of sleet according to the BBC Weather website. Tomorrow may also hold chilly weather, but with a high of 4 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday had a snow shower with thick wet snow falling across Corsham but it did not settle and was soon washed away by the rain. Are you hoping for a white Christmas this year or milder, less frosty weather? Tell us in the comment box below and if you snap any snow pictures, add them to our gallery.

Shame there will be no White Christmas this year! Just mild weather and rain! Maybe we'll get snow in January.
