Corsham snow updates: Traffic, school closures, public transport

Heavy snowfall overnight has caused schools to be closed, public transport to be delayed and traffic chaos across Wiltshire. 

The following schools have been closed in Wiltshire due to the weather:

Public Transport

South West train are not running any services in Wiltshire today however tickets are valid on First Great Western Trains.

 First Great Western train line delays between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour affecting stations, Bath Spa, Trowbridge, Westbury and Warminster.

First Great Western train line delays between Bristol Temple Meads and London Paddington affecting stations Chippenham and Melksham.

Roads

Pound Hill and Gastard Hill has slow moving traffic due to a white van stuck in snow.

Business

Wiltshire Council has announced there will be no dustbin service running today.
