Lacock Abbey Near Corsham Launches Walks for Festival

Lacock Abbey near Corsham and Chippenham has released a number of local walking trails as part of the National Trust's Walking Festival. The walks are all part of the National Trust's search for the nations favourite National Trust walk. 

Celebrities such as comedian Omid Djalili, crime-writer Val McDermid and Time Team's archaeologist Francis Pryor have backed the nationwide walk-search.

The Trust also invites those with their favourite walks to, "Tell everyone by adding it to the Your Favourite Walks map." Have you added yours yet? What National Trust walks have you found in Corsham, Lacock, Neston or Pickwick? If you had a walk before 6th December 2011 you could win one of the 25 pairs of walking boots they are giving away.
