To celebrate the 2012 Games, Vamos Theatre presents its new production Much Ado About Wenlock, a story set in 1850 about health, sports, a reforming doctor, and a runaway chicken! Join the characters of the community in the small town of Much Wenlock as they compete in its own 'Olympian Games', an inspiration for the modern Olympics that began 46 years later.
A glorious full mask show with original music, amazing physicality and dance choreography, Much Ado About Wenlock is a hugely inventive adventure for audiences from 8 to 108!
Not only is the performance coming to The Pound in Corsham, there is also a performance at Malmesbury School.
"As part of our outreach programme, it is great that Malmesbury School are able to have the performance and they will also have workshops throughout the day for the students", said Michael Cainen, Programme Manager at Pound Arts.
You can catch the fun and games at Malmesbury School on Thursday 3 November at 7.30pm, tickets are £8 (£7 concessions) or at The Pound on Friday 4 November at 7.30pm, tickets are £10 (£9 concessions).
You can book tickets by either calling the box office on 01249 701628, online 24 hours a day at www.poundarts.org.uk or visit The Pound in person. The box office is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

They aren't as scary as they first seem - it is so clever how they capture a character with no words, just movement and dance with music to tell the narrative. It is really a one-of-a-kind show, full of fun and originality, once you have seen Vamos you will love their style of performing!
And this performance is not just for children! Lots of adults came to see Nursing Lives when they were here last year and loved it! Tickets are still available for tonight's performance, call 01249 701628 or come on the door.
