PuppetCraft return to The Pound once again with their delightful puppets with another magical family show on Saturday 12 November at 2pm and 5pm.

A myth from Africa, Circle of Tales tells the story of a time where stories did not exist and a woman called Mazandaba who set out on a journey to search for stories. Follow her journey up and down mountains, through the bush, asking friendly and fierce animals for help, until she meets a wise Elephant who told her where to find wondrous stories to tell…

This charming production sees PuppetCraft's trademark puppetry with wood and wire puppets, told in African and English words and the sweet sounds of traditional African instrumental music.

There is even a chance for children (and adults!) to be a musical part of the 5pm show with the Pre-show workshop. The workshop will take place at 3.30pm, come along and learn how to play the instruments ready for the show. Suitable for age six and up (Yes, that means adults can join in too!) It is essential to book places for the workshop, due to a limited number, and only costs £2 per person.

Tickets are £6.50 (£5.50 concessions), £20 family (2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult, 3 children) and can be booked by either calling the box office on 01249 701628, online 24 hours a day at www.poundarts.org.uk or visit The Pound in person. The box office is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
