What's your view on this year's Military Theme for Corsham in Bloom?
Volunteers have been helping the Corsham in Bloom group, meeting on Mondays at the Centenary garden (opposite The Porch Surgery in Beechfield Road) from 1pm – 3pm.
"Volunteers have been helping Town Council ground staff to give the garden a good tidy," wrote a Spokesperson for Corsham in Bloom on the Corsham Town Council website.
"The South West in Bloom judges will be here on Monday 18th July, from 10am, assessing Corsham's entry in this year's competition. Corsham is in the Sargent Cup category for Small Towns, along with Burnham, Ilfracombe and Thornbury. Last year the town won Silver Gilt and we are hoping to at least replicate that success in 2011."
What do you think of Corsham's efforts this year? The theme is a military theme for 2011, whereas last year's was a peacock theme. What other Corsham in Bloom themes can you remember from previous years? Give your view on Corsham in Bloom in the comment box below.
