Corsham Town Council has given three community organisations grants to help boost their group.

Corsham Photographic Group received £500 in a grant to go towards a new laptop to be used by members to develop their photography skills.

Relate Mid-Wiltshire, a counselling group received £500 going towards people with low household income to access their counselling service.

£450 was also given to Springboard Opportunity Group to go toward transport costs for disabled children to get to their centre.

Each town council receives an allocated amount of grant money which goes towards local community organisations and projects who feel they need the cash boost.

Applications are made by the organisations and project organisers which are reviewed by the town council who then decide who receives a grant.
