There's no need to venture out of our Cotswold town for the Jubillee! Saturday 2nd June is going to be a great day in Corsham as we celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with the Town Council's 2012 Summer Fete. Will you be going to the fete?

Will you be going to the Jubilee Summer Fete in Corsham? Above is one of our snaps from the Armed Forces Day.
From 12pm to 4pm, at Springfield Recreation Ground, there will be all sorts of displays and activities to enjoy. You can eat and drink at the street party area, where you'll find the bar, a hog roast, crepes and more.
There will be live music, dancing, falconry displays, a dog show, animals from Little Zoo, radio-controlled aeroplanes and crafty things to create, plus stalls run by local groups and charities. There will also be pony rides, fairground rides and military vehicles to climb on and look at.
Music bugs will be there to get the little ones dancing and singing and Sportzcoach will be running sports games for the children (and adults) throughout the day.
The last fete, for Armed Forces Day in 2010, was a great success, but the Corsham Town Council is sure that 2012's Summer Fete will be even bigger and better than that – with just as much sunshine! Did you attend the Armed Forces Day fete? Check out our gallery for photos and tell us what you are looking forward to seeing at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee fete in Corsham.
