Santa Claus is coming to town - how will you be spending Christmas Eve? We've got a few ideas and it's not too late to organise some festive fun...

The Hare and Hounds in Corsham are open Christmas Eve to help you kick off the festive season. The bar will be open from 11am to midnight, with food served from 11am to 9pm, but booking is recommended.

The Queen's Head at Box, in the valley next to Corsham, will be celebrating Christmas Eve with DJ Damo from 8.30pm to 12.30am. A spokesperson for the Queens Head Box, wrote on their MySpace: "DJ Damo playing great tracks from across the decades."

The White Hart at Ford are fully embracing the joy that is festive food at Christmas, with a £1 starter with any main meal on Christmas Eve. "Come and take advantage of this great offer today only," wrote a spokesperson from the pub on their website.

The Two Pigs at Pickwick will be closed on Christmas Eve, but if you are in dire need of their real ales and Pigs Swill, they will be open on Christmas Day. Check their website for further details.
